woke up to fierce wind about 4 AM. couldn’t sleep. then got call at 5:50 AM that we have a snow day today. yeah. now my TV signal is frozen.

i’m going back to bed.

the college students DID fuck with me last night. i reamed a few of them a new one. a few new ones, as it happens. while it was happening (have i mentioned i have never experienced such unbelievable disrespect from any group of people in my life? not all of them, just a select few assholes), i was thinking “that’s it. i’m never doing this again.”

i also entertained the idea of walking out. and not bothering to come back. that did almost happen. but i managed to calm down and get a grip.

next time, i was told, call for security.

can you imagine? i mean, it’s one thing for inner city schools to have security (gee, that’s sad that it’s  just a given by now) but for a COLLEGE to have security?

i can’t believe it.

tomorrow i’m giving them their first test. i better not catch anyone fucking cheating.

apparently, some of them haven’t figured out yet that I CONTROL THEIR FUCKING GRADES and if you treat me like crap, that might not be a good fucking idea.

anyway. i am much calmer today than i sound. last night was not good, however.

my salary has been corrected at the new job. retroactive. i got the notice today. good thing. i didn’t feel like being extremely upset on friday, yet again.

more money down on friday also, for the trip to prague.

i have to get my passport renewed. thinking i’d better do it soon.

off to finish my letter. i was reading a newspaper online today, in Spanish. i didn’t do too bad. i was pretty proud of myself, actually.

and i don’t even speak Spanish. not yet anyway
