it’s taken me all day to finish the grant application. i always think it’s not going to be any big deal because the actual work is already written, i just have to come up with my work statement, fill in the application, get the manuscript together, etc. but it always takes longer than i think it will. i’m super picky and go over it again and again to make sure it’s perfect. this time, i worked on the work statement for a very long time. it’s one of those obscure sounding ones. well, that’s what they seem to like. we shall see…i think my sample this time is probably more cohesive than any other year, but who knows what they will think.

and i finally finished the article i was revising for that nat org. i was having the “editorial” issues with last week. sent her the final draft and asked to see what she plans to post before it gets published. haven’t heard back from her. she’s probaby annoyed with me. too bad. she’s a plagiarist.
