i bought a cool little red purse and a big orange bag (muted orange in case you were worried about my color choices) for my trip to chicago next week. it’s imperative that i have the correct traveling bags. i mulled over the bag issue for like, an hour, but finally settled on two that will be useful not only on my trip, but also long after i am home. not only am i a shoe-aholic, but a bag-aholic as well. there were still two other bags that i may just have to go back and get. a good bag to a tea–er is like gold.

i also bought a new pair of comfy shoes with cork in them. cork is the best. they are not hideously unfashionable either, but, they ARE comfortable for walking, so don’t expect any snazzy new shoe shots of them.

and lastly, the little travel book on chicago, with a number of walking tours in it. i will be alone for two days, at least, during the day, i mean–so i have to amuse myself. i was thinking of an architecture tour and not sure what else the other day. book shopping? bookstores? any cool ones i can’t go to around here?

so, i’m getting psyched.
