well.

i met him. now remember, he lives in another state, but travels here for business. so after much harassing him for not calling me yesterday, we finally settled on me going to his hotel and having a drink with him in the bar there.

so i showered (well, you never know, and my hair was flat as a pancake after all day at work), put on my silver shoes, jeans, black tuxedo shirt and applied makeup. i felt decent but not too much. me.

as soon as i saw him, i felt better. he was handsome, better than i expected, and not at all the way he had been coming across on the phone the last few times. much more easy going and easy to talk to. conversation was nice and relaxed and i felt comfortable being myself. i also found him attractive.

the whole thing seemed kind of unreal. i have more to say, but have to go to bed.

but guess who called me in the middle of our dinner (yes, we ended up eating dinner too)?

REAL MAN.

i only listened to his message. apologizing profusely for not getting back to me sooner.

anyway. it was good for the rocket scientist to know that another man was calling me.

we agreed we want to see each other again.

i’m not sure when that may be, but he said he’d know tomorrow after his meeting, when he’d be back.
