i saw an exhibition of some of her work, along with work by Georgia O’Keefe and one other woman who’s (i never know how to use who’s or whose, will someone PLEASE CORRECT ME?) name escapes me, at the National Museum of Women in the Arts in Washington D.C. a number of years ago (remember that Kim?).

it was pretty nice, and not too crazy crowded (as is discussed in linked-to blog post above).

we also saw a dress rehearsal of the Vivaldi All Girl’s Orchestra that day, which was even more unbelievable and impressive. none of the girls were over the age of 18, some of them as young as 12, if i recall correctly.
