i was reading my new billy collins book (the book isn’t new, but it’s new to me) sailing alone around the room, and i came across this poem.

it took my breath away. if only i could write a poem like this one.

the one i’ve been mulling over for over a week now is just about ready to be born. i’ll post when it’s done.
